EltaMD UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 is formulated with 5% Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) to help reduce the appearance of blemishes and discoloration on your skin. This broad spectrum sunscreen contains micronized zinc oxide to protect your skin from damaging UVA (aging) and UVB (burning) rays.

  • Apply liberally to face and neck 15 minutes before sun exposure
     
  • Use a water-resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating
     
  • Reapply at least every 2 hours
     
  • Sun Protection Measures. Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad-spectrum SPF of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including:
  • Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • Wear long-sleeve shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses
     
  • Before use on children under 6 months: Ask a physician
  • 1. With the cap cover in place over the pump, invert the container upside down and tap firmly 8-10 times. (This will force the liquid up into the actuator and create a vacuum).
  • 2. Return the container to its upright position.
  • 3. Remove the cap, and with the nozzle away from your face, press the pump to dispense the product into your hand. It may take several pumps to completely prime the pump to allow the actuator to deliver the product.
  • 4. If the pump continues to fail, try steps 1 through 3 again, but tapping slightly harder to force the liquid into the actuator.

Perfect sunscreen/moisturizer combo

Light and comfortable without that heavy feeling that most sunscreens can have. I only use a very small amount on my face, neck, and décolletage. Love it.

Excellent sunscreen

Been using my sunscreen everyday and love it. I love the idea that it washes off so well. I dont need a water resistant sunscreen. My skin is sensitive and have no problems with this sunscreen. My skin looks so good.

I’ve found the one!

I don’t usually write reviews, but this one earned it. I’ve tried a lot of face sunscreens over the years, including others from this same line, and every single one ended up in my eyes the second I sweat. Burning, red, irritated skin around my eyes every time. I thought that was just the tradeoff for wearing sunscreen. Not this one. This is the first sunscreen I’ve used that stays put, even when I’m active, and doesn’t migrate into my eyes at all. No stinging. No redness. No irritation. It also doesn’t break me out. My skin is acne-prone, and most sunscreens clog my pores or feel heavy. This one is lightweight, wears well under makeup or on its own, and my skin actually looks better using it. After years of trying top brands and dealing with the same issues, I finally found one that works. I won’t be switching.

EXCELLENT FOR ACNE!

I use this EltaMD spf46 daily. My dermatologist recommended this particular sun protection for my acne prone face. This comes in both clear and light tinted, but I did not like the tinted, it seemed to get on my clothes and I didn't like that. So I use the non-tinted one and it is a very, very good product. Purchase with confidence!
